The
Bortolin estate is entirely family run. Valeriano Bortolin continued the tradition of his
ancestors, modernizing the wine making facilities, and is now helped by two sons
who are enologists and a daughter who is an agronomist.

On more
than one occasion Bortolin have been recognized for the best Prosecco Superiore
di Cartizze, as well as many prizes for the other wines. The production is of a
very high standard, and that is noticeable in the contents of the bottles.

The
Bortolin wine estate is situated in the heart of the most important production
area of Spumante in Italy, the Valdobbiadene, to be more
precise, right at the foot of the prestigious hill Cartizze.
